I'm Andres — a wildlife photographer and expedition leader from Guatemala. I've been obsessed with wild animals since before I could walk, and these days I spend my time in the places I used to dream about as a kid.

On my tours, the photograph is never the whole point. What I'm after is something harder to plan for — the full experience of being out there, in wild places, with animals living their lives around you. The silence before the encounter. The species you weren't expecting. The moment nature shows something you'll never forget. The images come from all of that. Everything else does too.

If you care as much about the experience as the image — we'll get along just fine.
