Experience the wild heart of India on a 12-day wildlife tour through two of its most iconic reserves: Kaziranga National Park and Ranthambhore National Park. This journey offers the chance to see Bengal tigers, Indian rhinos, wild elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and more in their natural habitat. We’ll start in the lush wetlands of Kaziranga, home to the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinos, before heading to the dry forests of Ranthambhore, one of the best places to observe and photograph wild tigers. Whether you’re an experienced photographer, just starting out, or simply a wildlife lover, this tour is designed to give you close, meaningful encounters with India’s most iconic species. With expert guidance, small group travel, and daily wildlife safaris, this is India at its wildest.
Kaziranga
Kaziranga National Park lies in the heart of Assam, on the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, and stands as one of India’s greatest conservation success stories. Once nearly extinct, the Indian one-horned rhinoceros now thrives here, with Kaziranga protecting over two-thirds of the global population. The park’s ecosystem is shaped by seasonal floods, which create a mosaic of tall grasslands, tropical forests, oxbow lakes, and wetlands. This dynamic landscape supports rich biodiversity, including large herds of wild Asian elephants, swamp deer, and over 500 species of birds. While the Bengal tiger, leopard, and sloth bear are harder to spot, their presence adds to the thrill of each safari.
Ranthambhore
Ranthambhore National Park is one of the most iconic wildlife reserves in India, known especially for its high density of Bengal tigers and the unique backdrop they inhabit. Located in Rajasthan at the edge of the Aravalli Hills, the park combines dry deciduous forest, open grasslands, rocky ridges, and ancient ruins that date back centuries. These landscapes not only create dramatic settings for photography but also provide ideal habitat for a wide range of wildlife. Alongside tigers, visitors often see leopards, sloth bears, sambar, chital, mugger crocodiles and more. The park is also home to over 300 bird species. Once a royal hunting ground, Ranthambhore is now one of the best places in the world to observe and photograph wild tigers in natural light and close range. Each safari here carries the potential for unforgettable encounters, whether it’s a tiger patrolling its territory or a bear in the early morning mist.
